UAAP Season 88 Basketball Tournament: National University Outlasts UST
MANILA, Philippines — National University clamped down on Collins Akowe to outlast the University of Santo Tomas, 76-69, at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion on Wednesday. With the win, the Bulldogs remain unbeaten in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament.
The Bulldogs effectively limited Akowe, their former high school standout from NU Nazareth School, to a controlled performance, disrupting UST’s game plan and securing a hard-fought victory.
