Alexander Skarsgård Wore A Dildo Shirt You Must See, And His Remarks About Sexuality Were Even Bolder

**Alexander Skarsgård Wore a Dildo Shirt You Must See, and His Remarks About Sexuality Were Even Bolder**

Alexander Skarsgård is taking his new BDSM-themed film very seriously—both on and off the screen.

The actor stars in the British romantic comedy *Pillion*, based on the 2020 novel *Box Hill* by Adam Mars-Jones. In the film, Skarsgård plays Ray, a biker gang leader who embarks on a BDSM relationship with a young man named Colin, portrayed by Harry Melling.

While promoting *Pillion* at the Zurich Film Festival, Alexander turned heads by wearing a striking silk shirt covered in buttplugs and dildos. The shirt is from Italian designer Magliano and pays homage to late 20th-century Italian gay culture. You really have to see it to believe it.

Here’s a closer look at the shirt:

This isn’t the first time Alexander has given audiences a taste of the film’s unique culture. Back in May, he rocked over-the-knee leather Saint Laurent boots at the premiere of *The Phoenician Scheme*—footwear inspired by fetish boots.

In addition to his bold fashion choices, Skarsgård has been equally candid about his role and the world it represents. Speaking to *Variety* at the festival, he opened up about his connection to BDSM culture as depicted in the movie.

He said, “My experience of watching this on screen was through *Cruising*, where it’s this dark underbelly of New York City and it’s dangerous, murderous and scary. Leather gays are scary. I’m no Ray, but I have a little bit of experience from that world and I know that’s not the truthful depiction.”

His remarks didn’t stop there. In a moment that quickly went viral, Alexander shared how he personally relates to his character Ray, including an honest reflection on his own sexuality.

“I found that in this case, it’s not really relevant what my background is,” Skarsgård explained. “I mean, I do have a kid, but what I’ve done in the past, who I’ve been with, men, women. To me, what was important was that this felt like an opportunity to tell a story about a subculture I hadn’t seen portrayed this way with so much authenticity.”

His comments sparked conversations—some interpreted them as a personal “coming out,” while others viewed them as an embrace of fluidity beyond labels. Social media buzzed with reactions:

– “Alexander Skarsgård is the only person genuinely beyond label. He fucks and that’s all and you’re just lucky if you get to participate.”
– “I’m still processing Alexander Skarsgård lowkey coming out as bi, the bisexual community just keeps winning.”
– “This man did some serious, on the ground, in the trenches research for this role.”

As for the eye-catching shirt, fans couldn’t get enough:

– “We love a dildo shirt.”
– “Who else would wear a shirt with dildos on it?”
– “Wait, because at first glance I thought they were buildings.”

With his fearless fashion and open-hearted approach to portraying an often-misunderstood subculture, Alexander Skarsgård is proving that he’s all in for *Pillion*.
