**Palghar: Two Teenage Boys Allegedly Commit Suicide at Ashram School in Wada Taluka**
Two teenage boys studying at a government-run ashram school in Wada taluka of Maharashtra’s Palghar district allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves from a tree on the school premises, police said on Thursday.
### Incident Details
The tragic incident occurred during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. No suicide note was found at the scene, and the motive behind this extreme step is yet to be ascertained, officials added.
The victims, aged 14 and 15 years, were students of Class 9 and Class 10 respectively. Senior Inspector Datta Kindre of the Wada police station and Jawhar’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Sameer Maher provided these details to PTI.
The incident came to light in the early hours of Thursday, prompting the police to be informed. The bodies were subsequently taken to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.

The boys reportedly used nylon ropes—typically meant for drying clothes—to hang themselves from a tree located within the ashram school’s premises in Ambiste village.
Currently, exams are underway at the school, the police noted.
### Background
Both students hailed from Mokhada taluka in the Palghar district, situated approximately 80 kilometers from their ashram school.
A case of accidental death has been registered, and investigations into the matter are ongoing.
