MANILA, Philippines – Broker-dealer Globalinks Securities and Stocks Inc. may resume operations now that it has secured enough capital to continue its business.
This development follows the lifting of Globalinks’ involuntary suspension by the market regulation arm of the Philippine Stock Exchange.
In a memorandum released on Tuesday, the Capital Markets Integrity Corp. (CMIC) confirmed that it had received documents from Globalinks, which provided proof of the company’s compliance with required capital regulations.
With these steps completed, Globalinks is expected to recommence its activities in the market soon.
