NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Kuol Atak led the charge off the bench, scoring 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting as the Oklahoma Sooners opened their campaign with a commanding 102-66 victory over St. Francis (Pa.) on Monday night.
In addition to Atak’s impressive performance, three Sooners—Xzayvier Brown, Nijel Pack, and Mohamed Wague—each contributed 16 points. All three shot efficiently, making at least 50 percent of their attempts.
Oklahoma’s balanced scoring and high shooting percentages set the tone early, helping the Sooners dominate the game from start to finish.
