A juvenile male has been released to the custody of his parents after leading mall security and deputies on a dangerous high-speed chase through the Victoria Gardens Mall in Rancho Cucamonga on an E-bike over the weekend.
The incident occurred on November 8 at around 6:30 p.m., when security personnel working at the sprawling shopping center noticed the young rider speeding through the mall premises. What followed was a tense pursuit as mall security and law enforcement deputies attempted to intercept the juvenile before any harm could occur.
Despite the risks posed by the high-speed chase, authorities were able to safely apprehend the individual. Following the incident, the juvenile was released into the custody of his parents.
