SAN DIEGO (AP) — Tom Beattie and Leo Beath each scored 15 points to help UC San Diego defeat Idaho 75-67 on Saturday.
Beattie contributed seven rebounds and six assists for the Tritons, who improved to 4-0 on the season. Beath went 6 of 11 from the field and added six rebounds.
Aidan Burke also had a strong performance, shooting 5 for 7 overall, including 1 for 3 from three-point range, and going 2 of 3 from the free-throw line to finish with 13 points.
For the Vandals, Kolton Mitchell led the way with 18 points. Idaho’s record fell to 2-2 with the loss.
