Wall Street Brunch: Nvidia Week

Posted on 2025 年 11 月 16 日 by admin

**Disney Restores ESPN and ABC to YouTube TV Subscribers**

YouTube TV and Disney have reached a deal to restore ESPN, ABC, and other channels to the platform’s 10 million subscribers following nearly a two-week hiatus. The companies announced the agreement on Friday night.

Under the new deal, Alphabet’s YouTube TV subscribers will gain access to ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer “Unlimited” service at no additional cost, as part of YouTube TV’s base plan. This is especially notable for WWE fans, as major events including Wrestlemania are now included in ESPN’s Unlimited offering. The Unlimited service will also be accessible directly on the YouTube TV platform.

YouTube TV’s base plan costs a little over $80 per month. The rollout of this restored content is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

**Apple Prepares Major Overhaul of iPhone Lineup**

Apple is planning its most comprehensive iPhone revamp to date, with three entirely new models expected to launch over three consecutive years. According to Bloomberg, this shift comes as Apple faces criticism for relying heavily on the iPhone while competitors make strides in artificial intelligence and emerging hardware categories.

Reporter Mark Gurman revealed on Sunday that Apple began rethinking the iPhone lineup last September, starting with the introduction of the iPhone Air and redesigned iPhone 17 Pro models. A foldable iPhone is anticipated next fall, followed by a premium device in 2027 featuring curved glass and an under-display camera.

**Nvidia Earnings Report: Market Impact and Analyst Insights**

It’s the big week for Nvidia (NVDA), which reports earnings on Wednesday. As the saying goes, “As Nvidia goes, so goes the market.” Remarkably, Nvidia has become so influential that the S&P 500 is now more closely correlated to this AI heavyweight than to its own equal-weight index (RSP), according to Goldman Sachs.

Wall Street consensus expects earnings per share (EPS) of $1.25 on revenue of $54.87 billion for Nvidia’s fiscal quarter 3 (FQ3).

Here’s a breakdown of how the stock is currently viewed:

– Our Quant Rating stands at **Hold**, primarily due to valuation concerns—Nvidia trades at more than 50 times non-GAAP earnings.
– Wall Street analysts overwhelmingly favor Nvidia, with over 50 Strong Buy or Buy ratings. The lone dissenting voice is Jay Goldberg of Seaport Research, who explained to MarketWatch:
*“I have never told my clients to ‘short’ Nvidia, but I’ve always positioned my thesis as, ‘Nvidia is going to underperform the sector.’ And that has actually played out. Since April 1, Nvidia has underperformed the AI sector.”*
– On the positive side, Susquehanna raised its price target on Nvidia to $230 from $210 ahead of earnings, maintaining a positive rating. They anticipate strong results driven by the ramp-up of the GB300 and hyperscalers increasing capital expenditure by 69% in 2025 and 24% in 2026. Supply checks were upbeat; Foxconn has already achieved its 2025 AI server revenue target.
– Seeking Alpha analysts also lean bullish, with KM Capital stating that Nvidia is substantially undervalued. They highlight the company’s strong fundamentals and consistent history of beating earnings estimates as reasons to expect robust upcoming results.
– Meanwhile, caution comes from Mott Capital Management, which warns that Nvidia options positioning is extremely bullish. This has led to expensive options and presents a risk of implied volatility collapse, potentially hurting call option holders.
