Rubio Calls Western Recognition of Palestine ‘Irrelevant,’ Blames It for Derailing Hostage Talks
US Senator Marco Rubio has criticized Western recognition of Palestine, labeling it as “irrelevant” and attributing it to the derailment of ongoing hostage negotiations. According to Rubio, such political moves have complicated efforts to secure the release of hostages.
Rubio further commented on the stance of former President Donald Trump regarding the hostage situation. He noted that Trump would not be interested in a partial hostage deal, emphasizing that the former president “wants all 48 hostages out, including the 20 who are alive and the 28 who are deceased.”
