Japan coach Laurent Tillie had no excuses following their exit in the 2025 FIVB Men’s World Championship.
While the Ryujin Nippon secured a win against Libya on Wednesday night at the Araneta Coliseum, playing in front of a rowdy “home” crowd, the victory was not enough to change their fate.
Despite the hard-fought match, Japan was unable to advance to the competition’s next round, bringing their campaign in the tournament to an end.
