Police Say Cher’s Son Arrested After Disturbance at New Hampshire Private High School
Elijah Allman, 49, the son of singer Cher and the late musician Gregg Allman, was arrested on Friday following an alleged disturbance at a private high school in New Hampshire where he has no official association.
According to police reports, Allman was charged with four misdemeanors: two counts of simple assault, criminal trespass, and criminal threatening. Additionally, he faces a violation of disorderly conduct, which, while illegal in New Hampshire, is not classified as a crime.
The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. when Concord police responded to calls about Allman causing a disturbance in the dining hall of St. Paul’s School. After processing the charges, police released Allman on bail as his case proceeds through the court system.
Attorney information for Allman was not available in court records, and a representative for Cher was not immediately reachable for comment. St. Paul’s School declined to comment on the matter. The Concord Police Department also did not release a booking photo following the arrest. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
