Producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak are gearing up to create a spin-off centered around the iconic character Langda Tyagi from the 2006 film *Omkara*, according to a report by Pinkvilla.
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, *Omkara* starred Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Konkana Sen Sharma, among others. The film is an acclaimed adaptation of William Shakespeare’s *Othello* and has won multiple National Film Awards.

A source revealed to Pinkvilla that Langda Tyagi, portrayed by Saif Ali Khan, has remained a significant figure in pop culture nearly two decades after the film’s release. “The character of Langda Tyagi has stood the test of time.
