A small plane left the runway at Rapid City Regional Airport Thursday morning. The Rapid City Fire Department reported that the incident occurred around 9 a.m.
Crews from Fire Station 8 at the airport responded to the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured, and there was no fire.
According to the fire department, one person was on board the plane, which veered off the runway and into a grassy area.
