Punjabi actress Tania recently opened up about a harrowing incident involving her father, Dr. Anil Jit Singh Kamboj. On July 4, two unidentified men posing as patients attacked him at his clinic in Kot Ise Khan. Following the attack, Dr. Kamboj was rushed to a private hospital in Moga, a town in Punjab’s Moga district.
After three months of silence, Tania shared her emotional experience for the first time. Posting on her Instagram handle on Saturday, October 4, she shared photos and videos from the hospital, along with a heartfelt message.
“This is what my last 3 months have looked like. From July 4th till today… Life has taken me through corridors I never imagined walking—ICUs, OTs, endless waiting rooms. Every day has been a test of faith, strength, and surrender,” she wrote.
Tania revealed the stark contrast between her professional and personal life during this period. “Some mornings I was under studio lights, smiling for the camera… and by night, I was in the ICU, holding back tears at my father’s bedside,” she shared. She reflected on how her life shifted dramatically from “vanities to ventilators.”
She further explained, “How I no more talked about scripts, lipstick shades, and cameras. But it was all about tracheostomy, gut bleeds, TLC counts, and blood units. But now I value life more than anything.”
Expressing her gratitude, Tania credited her faith for giving her the strength to endure this challenging time. “Despite all the battles, I am thankful to God, who, if entrusted me with this challenge, also blessed me with the strength and support to face it,” she said.
Tania also spoke about her deepened appreciation for her craft. “I have come to value the artist in me even more, because while the world often sees actors only as entertainers, for me, this craft is also a livelihood,” she admitted.
She concluded by acknowledging that her journey is far from over, but her resilience and hope remain strong.
