**“You’re F*ing Negative”: Trump to Netanyahu During Gaza Peace Talks**

United States President Donald Trump has reportedly urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop being “so negative” amid ongoing peace talks with Hamas. After two years of intense conflict in Gaza, there are signs the situation could be nearing a resolution, with Hamas reportedly partially accepting Trump’s peace proposal.
Despite this progress, Netanyahu remained cautious. According to a report by Axios, the Israeli leader told Trump that there was “nothing to celebrate” and that the development “doesn’t mean anything.” However, Trump saw this response as a potential breakthrough and an opportunity for negotiation.
A U.S. official familiar with the discussions revealed that Trump told Netanyahu, “I don’t know why you’re always so f***ing negative. This is a win. Take it.” The U.S. president had been concerned that Hamas might reject his plan outright but viewed their partial acceptance as a positive step forward.
Following his conversation with Netanyahu, Trump requested that Israel halt its airstrikes in Gaza. Remarkably, Netanyahu complied within three hours. In an interview with Axios, Trump expressed optimism, stating, “We are close” to a peace deal and that plans to finalize the agreement were underway.
“I said, ‘Bibi, this is your chance for victory.’ He was fine with it. He’s got to be fine with it. He has no choice. With me, you got to be fine,” Trump remarked on Saturday.
Looking ahead, delegations from Hamas, Israel, and the United States are scheduled to meet in Egypt for further talks. President Trump has urged negotiators to “MOVE FAST” to end the war and secure the release of captives.
Hamas’s lead negotiator, Khalil al-Hayya, is set to meet with mediators from Egypt and Qatar in Cairo, with additional discussions planned in Sharm El-Sheikh, according to Agence France-Presse.
