A former WWE Diva has revealed that she is eager for a return to the company. In recent times, fans have witnessed several stars from WWE’s Divas era making comebacks, and now another name is hoping to join this trend.
In an interview with talkSPORT, Danielle Moinet, better known as Summer Rae, discussed her current involvement in bare-knuckle boxing before reflecting on her WWE career. When asked about her experience with the Stamford-based promotion, she said:
“So, I was with WWE for six years, which is a good solid run. And I’ve been gone a little bit, went back three years ago for the Royal Rumble. They did not have an all-women’s Royal Rumble when I was growing up, and it was my dream. It was everything I wanted to do. We were on the road, gosh, a good 300 days a year. It’s completely nonstop, but when it’s what you’ve wanted to do, it doesn’t feel like work.”
Summer Rae also expressed that she remains a dedicated fan of WWE and is keen to return one day:
“I’m still very good friends with a lot of the girls and a lot of the guys in WWE, and I still watch it avidly. I’m such a big fan, and it’s just a part of me. It always will be. And you know, I get the itch to go back all the time.”

This isn’t the first time Summer Rae has hinted at a WWE comeback. Last month, she posted a message on X (formerly Twitter) that caught the attention of wrestling fans worldwide. Her simple yet suggestive tweet read:
“Think it’s time to come home.”
Summer Rae’s WWE journey began in developmental, where she worked for three years before joining the main roster in 2013. She initially debuted as Fandango’s dance partner and went on to feud with notable stars such as AJ Lee, Natalya, and Emma. Rae also had an on-screen relationship with Rusev, managing him during his rivalry against Dolph Ziggler.
After several years with the company, she was released in 2017.
