**David Brian Landry**
AUBURN – David Brian Landry passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2025.
David was born on November 28, 1972, in Norway, Maine, to Valmond and Elizabeth (Parker) Landry. He graduated from Winslow High School in 1991 and went on to graduate summa cum laude from Bates College with degrees in economics and political science. Demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning, David also earned advanced training certificates from the Wharton School, the University of Chicago, and Harvard Business School.
He began his career in medical billing before joining Spectrum Healthcare Partners and Spectrum Medical Management Company in 1998 as Chief Operating Officer. In 2007, he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer, a role he dedicated himself to for 18 years. Under his leadership, Spectrum flourished into one of Maine’s leading healthcare organizations.
In recognition of his professional achievements and philanthropic efforts, David received the Crystal Heart Honoree Award from the American Heart Association in 2022. He also served on numerous charitable boards and committees across the State of Maine.
While David was an exceptional leader and businessman, his greatest joy was his family. He loved traveling the world with his wife, Kelly, and treasured their annual family vacations. Known affectionately as “Papa Dave,” he found happiness in bringing laughter, warmth, and light to those around him. His kindness, generosity, and genuine care for others were boundless.
David was preceded in death by his brother, Peter. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kelly Landry of Auburn; his children, Alexander Landry of Palo Alto, California; Madelyn Landry of Bath; Lydia Landry of St. Augustine, Florida; Jackson Landry of Brunswick and Auburn; Analiese Landry of Brunswick; and Lindsey (Ryan) Kaichen of South Berwick. He is also survived by his grandsons, Carter and Drew Kaichen; his parents, Val and Beth Landry of Winslow; his mother-in-law, Sandra Fortin; and his sister, Maria (Sean) Landry of Waterville, along with many extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, October 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 28, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus Street, Lewiston.
