### What Are Field Depots?
Field Depots are distinctive, round, and somewhat ramshackle structures covered with draped blue tarps. An antenna tower typically juts out from the roof, making them easier to spot. While they aren’t usually found in major points of interest, they can be located nearby.

### How to Spot Field Depots on Dam Battlegrounds
The introductory Dam Battlegrounds map has several Field Depots scattered throughout the area. Here are some tips to find them:
– **Look for the antenna tower:** The radar tower extending from the roof is a key visual marker.
– **Yellow ladder:** There is always a yellow-painted ladder leading up to the radar tower, providing a potential vantage point.
– **Size matters:** Field Depots are generally larger than nearby buildings.
– **Map icon:** When you get within approximately 75 meters of a Field Depot, its icon appears on your map. This lets you set a waypoint for easy navigation. Note that the icon will disappear if you move too far away.

### Key Locations on Dam Battlegrounds
– **Southwestern swamp:** One of the easiest Field Depots to find is about 150 meters northeast of the South Swamp Outpost. Amid several similar-looking structures, look for the large building with the radar tower.
– **Northern spawn near the Power Generation Complex:** Another Field Depot can be found on the easternmost edge of the yellow border, roughly 200 meters northwest of the Pump House Hatch extraction point.

### Why Use Field Depots?
Inside a Field Depot, you’ll find a small amount of loot, but the real advantage comes from depositing Field Crates you gather from nearby buildings. By placing these crates in the device at the center of the Depot, you can unlock:
– Ammo
– Meds
– Grenades
– Materials
This makes Field Depots an excellent resource hub during your raid.

– **Noise alert:** Using a Field Depot to open a Field Crate generates noise, briefly attracting attention.
