**New Circle K Coming to West Valley’s Verde Trails Community in Avondale**
PHOENIX — A new Circle K gas station is set to open in a West Valley master-planned community, following the recent land purchase by its representing investment firm, according to a Friday press release.
The gas station will be located on a 1.74-acre parcel at the southwest corner of Broadway Road and 107th Avenue within Avondale’s Verde Trails development. Circle K will occupy the first of four commercial spaces available for purchase in the area, all intended to serve the community of 110 single-family homes.
Harvard Investments, which finalized the sale, also recently announced the last residential lot sale at Verde Trails. While construction on the gas station has not yet begun, it is expected to start soon.
“We diligently worked with the city of Avondale and Circle K to bring this opportunity to closing,” said Roger Theis of Harvard Investments in the release. “We wanted to be sure it well-served residents of the community and the area, and we’re excited to begin the construction work.
“This is an important step in activating the commercial core of Verde Trails and reflects the strong collaboration between public and private partners committed to serving the community.”
