**Spread the Love: Questions Surround President Biden’s Capacity and Use of Autopen for Executive Actions**
Recent reports have raised serious concerns about former President Joe Biden’s cognitive capacity and the role of unelected White House staffers—often referred to as his “handlers”—in managing presidential duties. Allegations suggest that Biden’s signature and name were forged using an autopen device by these staffers, who effectively assumed the role of Commander-in-Chief, baffling many observers.
### Autopen Forgery and Pardons Controversy
One of the most notable issues involves the release of 4,245 individuals, who were pardoned and set free via executive actions purportedly signed by the autopen. Aside from Hunter Biden, former President Biden did not directly grant these pardons himself.
Republicans on the House Oversight Committee are pressing Attorney General Pam Bondi to take action. Their nearly year-long investigation has led them to declare such executive actions “void,” stating that “action by the Department of Justice is warranted to address the legal consequences of that determination.”
### GOP Committee’s Findings and Calls for Accountability
“Our report reveals how key aides colluded to mislead the public and the extraordinary measures they took to sustain the appearance of presidential authority as Biden’s capacity to function independently diminished,” said Kentucky Republican Rep. James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee. He added, “Executive actions performed by Biden White House staff and signed by autopen are null and void.”
While the report does not name those responsible for issuing these decrees on Biden’s behalf, the committee has interviewed fourteen staffers and has a general understanding of who may be accountable. Additionally, Biden’s personal family friend, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, who played a significant role in concealing Biden’s cognitive decline, is being urged for further investigation.
### The Administration’s Stance and Lack of Public Response
Despite these serious allegations, Biden’s handlers continue to maintain that the former president was personally responsible for each pardon. Notably, the former president has not made any public statement addressing these claims.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has also publicly stated on numerous occasions that he was prevented from communicating directly with President Biden. His sole meeting with Biden ended abruptly and raised more concerns.
During their encounter, Johnson confronted the president about his order to halt LNG exports to Europe. Biden reportedly denied issuing such an order.
“Mr. President, yes, you did. It was an executive order like three weeks ago,” Johnson replied, explaining the subsequent damage caused to both the EU and US economies.
“He genuinely did not know what he had signed,” Johnson later said. “I walked out of that meeting with fear and loathing because I thought, ‘We are in serious trouble. Who is running the country? I don’t know who put the paper in front of him, but he didn’t know.’”

These revelations have sparked intense debate about presidential capacity, transparency, and accountability within the current administration. The situation underscores the critical need for clarity about who truly holds authority in the highest office of the United States.
