**SCOOP:** The makers of *Battle Of Galwan* are considering a June 2026 release. The shooting of the Salman Khan-starrer is expected to wrap up by December.
A source revealed,
> “The shooting began in September in Ladakh, and a major chunk of the film has already been shot. The team has filmed key challenging and action sequences. The shooting will be wrapped up in December, after which director Apoorva Lakhia will focus entirely on post-production.”
Earlier, in July, Bollywood Hungama had reported that the makers were eyeing either a January or June 2026 release for the film. However, the source added,
> “A January release obviously won’t be possible now. But June is seriously being considered, although the team is also exploring if there’s an ideal release date in July or August next year.”
### Anticipation Builds Ahead of Salman Khan’s 60th Birthday
Recently, Shah Rukh Khan fans were treated to a massy glimpse of his upcoming film *King* on his 60th birthday, November 2. This has sparked excitement among Salman Khan’s fans as well, who are hopeful that an announcement video or teaser for *Battle Of Galwan* might drop when Salman turns 60 on December 27.
