MAGA darling Candace Owens claimed on Tuesday that she will not vote until conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s killing is solved.
Owens made the post as voters in New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City headed to the polls to decide on a host of issues that could impact President Donald Trump’s presidency. Democrats appeared poised to win the governor’s office in New Jersey, as well as the governor’s and attorney general offices in Virginia. Additionally, Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani led in polling ahead of the mayoral election in New York City.
Owens made her comments in response to a post from Paula Scanlan, executive director of Early Vote Action, who called on Republicans to “take note” of those who take time to talk about Tuesday’s elections.
“Remember who actually works hard to help us win,” Scanlan said.
Responding on X, Owens wrote: “Not voting until we learning the truth about who killed Charlie. Literally do not care how anybody feels about that. Not lifting one finger.”
