Nikki Glaser opened her “SNL” monologue with an ode to the Big Apple: “Here I am in New York City, Epstein’s original island!” she said.
She returned to the topic of the infamous sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell later in her monologue while talking about her Gen Z friends who “have a really big fear of being trafficked.”
“In my 20s I just feared good old-fashioned rape. I didn’t think it would be a career. We didn’t think it was anything more than a temp job at a frat house futon,” said Glaser, who is 41. “They’re like, ‘We’re safer when you’re with us because they think you’re our madam. You have resting Ghislaine face, so keep that up.’”
Glaser is a first-time “SNL” host. In January, she will host the Golden Globes for the second consecutive year, and in 2026, Hulu will debut a comedy special from Glaser that was taped in October.
Sombr was the musical guest during Glaser’s episode, also making his debut on the show.
More to come.
