Jennifer Lawrence Says She’d Never Say No to 1 Oscar-Winning Director

Posted on 2025 年 11 月 10 日 by admin

Jennifer Lawrence has revealed which film director she would never decline working with.

Lawrence stars alongside Robert Pattinson in their latest film, *Die My Love*. Directed by Lynne Ramsay, the film was released on November 7, 2025. During the film’s promotion, Lawrence and Pattinson participated in a lie detector test, during which she made an interesting revelation.

The two actors sat down for a Vanity Fair lie detector test to promote their latest release. They took turns answering questions while hooked up to a polygraph machine. Lawrence chose to go second, making Pattinson go first.

A few minutes into the session, Pattinson asked Lawrence if she was pickier about roles now compared to a few years ago. She quickly answered yes. Then, Pattinson read from a card the question: “Is there a director who you’d never say no to?”

Without hesitation, Lawrence replied, “Well, yeah, but he’s never asked me to be in anything.” She then revealed that this director is none other than the visionary Christopher Nolan.

After a brief nod from Lawrence, Pattinson commented, “He’s pretty good.” Lawrence chuckled and said to the *Twilight* star, “Must be nice. Tell him I say hi.”

Christopher Nolan and Robert Pattinson have worked together in the past on *Tenet*, which was released in 2020. The two are also collaborating on the upcoming film *The Odyssey*, scheduled for release in July 2026.

*The Odyssey* boasts an impressive cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, and Charlize Theron, among others. The film is an adaptation of Homer’s ancient epic, telling the tale of Odysseus’s ten-year journey to Ithaca following the Trojan War.
