Scheduled to arrive on November 13, 2025, at 1:30 a.m. PT / 4:30 a.m. ET, the North Line update promises to bring a host of exciting new features. Players will be introduced to a community event, new maps, enemies, weapons, play styles, and much more.
### Breaking New Ground: Community Challenge Event
To access the new map, Stella Montis, players will need to participate in the Breaking New Ground community challenge. This event tasks players with helping Speranza rebuild the tunnels that connect to the northern region. By completing rounds and contributing resources, players will earn Merits—a special currency that fuels the next phase of the community event.
### Introducing Stella Montis
Once unlocked, Stella Montis will reveal a pristine environment, a stark contrast to the Rust Belt players are familiar with. The map features mysterious ruins that offer tantalizing hints about what humanity left behind in its quest toward the stars, making it a treat for lore enthusiasts.
Alongside the new environment, a fresh progress track called Staking Our Claim will become available, offering new challenges and rewards to engage players further.
### New Enemies: The Shredder and Matriarch
The North Line update also introduces formidable new foes. Among them is the Shredder, a new ARC enemy that will test players’ combat skills. Another fearsome adversary, the Matriarch—described as making the Queen “look friendly by comparison”—will appear under specific map conditions, adding an extra layer of challenge.

Players can also look forward to an arsenal expansion with new weapons such as the Energy Burst Rifle, Impulse Mine, Timed Mine, and Gas Jump Mine. Additionally, the update introduces new “Play Styles” named Lone Wolf and Trailblazer, offering fresh ways to experience the game.
