The Atlanta Falcons currently hold the lead over the Carolina Panthers in the second half, seeking revenge for their 30-0 loss back in September. While Bijan Robinson has been the driving force behind the Falcons’ offense, the passing game has also performed well.
However, Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. suffered an injury during the game, leading to visible frustration despite his solid performance. According to Tori McElhaney of Falcons.com, “Michael Penix Jr. is sacked on third down. He is down on the field and tossed his helmet as team doctors and trainers came to assist him. He later got up and walked off the field on his own.”
The Falcons later announced that Penix sustained a knee injury and is currently questionable to return to the game.
