MANILA, Philippines – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has extended the validity of bond shelf registration offerings. This move aims to provide “greater flexibility and efficiency” for entities tapping the capital markets amid volatile market conditions.
Under SEC Memorandum Circular No. 12, Series of 2025, an amendment was made to Rule 8.1.2 of the 2015 Implementing Rules and Regulations. This amendment is expected to help issuers better navigate the uncertainties in the financial market while pursuing their fundraising activities.
