How to Unlock the Dragon Head Pickaxe in The Forge
Step 1: Unlock the Raven’s Cave
The Dragon Head Pickaxe is located within the Raven’s Cave, a newly added area in the Crimson Depths.
To unlock this cave, complete the first two quests given by the Raven NPC and claim the Red Cave Key. Then, head behind the Forging area of Frostpire Expanse, find the entrance, and use the key to unlock it.

Step 2: Reach the Dragon Head Pickaxe
When you enter the Crimson Depths, locate the Aida NPC. She will task you with traveling deep into the cave to find the Dragon Head Pickaxe.
Follow these directions to reach it:
- Head straight through the cave until you find a red crystal ball inside a cavity.
- Take a right after the crystal; you’ll see a bush in the corner.
- Pass through the bush to enter the Corruption’s Heart passage.
