Palmyra girls basketball showcased an air-tight defense in their impressive 39-23 victory over Lower Dauphin in a Mid-Penn Conference Keystone matchup on Wednesday.
The Cougars set the tone early, allowing just 2 points in the first quarter while putting up 15 on the offensive end. They maintained their momentum throughout the game, entering halftime with a commanding 27-9 lead.
Elyse Ancharski led Palmyra with a game-high 18 points. Supporting her efforts, Addi Salus contributed 9 points, Mya Doster added 7, and Kaylee Seltzer chipped in 5 points.
For Lower Dauphin, Lexi Misiolek scored 7 points, while Reese Marshall finished with 6.
